Politicians - One term limits. $50,000 a year salary. No pension. No health care. No retirement plan. No lobbyists. No immunity from the laws. If you vote for a war... you have to serve on the front lines for 2 years to show your belief that it is a just cause!

2/3rds of the state legislatures need to vote to convene a Constitutional Convention to update the document for the 21st century.

It is currently the oldest document used to govern a western country. It needs to be examined and changed to reflect new realities and ideas. Some of the language needs to be updated and clarified.

This would provide more clarity as to the will of the people and allow the country to function better and be more productive.

Broadcasters should be required to subscribe to an independent, third party fact checking service, like C-span, that scrolls facts in real time across the screen in a crawler, while a politician is talking.

With today's balkanization of new and the existence of organizations dedicated to producing false news and false science, we have lost the ability as a society to even agree on what the facts are. What is needed is a app/add-on/service that evaluates the credibility of a news outlet based on their track record. This would be something like the seller ratings that online retailers provide, showing both the quality and quantity of seller activity. I don't care who gets the credit, I just want this done to marginalize the liars and extremists who are destroying our country.

The multi national corporations have hijacked our politicians and media. They keep us fighting and bickering amongst each other while they siphon all of our $$$

This will help eliminate the number of unconstitutional laws they pass.

Modern technology could not have been forseen when the founders legislated "the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." From now on, gun lovers should be able to own any gun invented before 1791, without restriction. These were single-shot, inaccurate, and slow to reload. Modern killing machines would be subject to common sense restrictions.

Business investment is driven by stability and a reliance on the rule of law. If there is a possibility of sudden political change, investment will not occur.

The birth certificate issue is significant and preventing investment in this country. As long as this remains unresolved many investors will remain on the sidelines.

Encourage the House Oversight Committee to subpoena the document and decide decisively whether he has the constitutional right to serve in the office of President.

Farm and dairy subsidies make no economic sense and are a huge drain on the US Treasury. We should be able to make products that can compete on the world stage. We are currently protecting this industry and it is responding by producing low quality products.

We should open our boarders and allow food and dairy imports from fully certified plants and farms. Prices would be market based, quality would improve and we would save billions.

Instead of pitting some of our best candidates against one another in the primaries...let's hold our own nationwide primary to select the best TEAM to start out as our candidates for President & Vice President...establish TEAMS instead of individual races. I know who sponsors Jeff Gordon. Likewise, we should require our politicians to wear a racing suit that has a patch for every donor over $10,000 (because let's face it, money don't start talking until you're talking 10 large, right?). They should have to wear one once a month and if they are found to have left off a patch, they are disqualified.
